Prof. Maged Shebaita is a distinguished legal scholar and Chief Justice at the Egyptian Administrative Court of Appeal, with over two decades of judicial and arbitration experience. A senior international arbitrator affiliated with top institutions such as the LCIA and CIArb, he specializes in the intersection of Shari‘a, international law, and legal reform. His work bridges Islamic jurisprudence with global legal systems, and he actively contributes to academic research, editorial leadership, and legal diplomacy across jurisdictions.
Dr Hassan Shakeel Shah

Dr. Hassan Shakeel Shah is a distinguished scholar in Islamic Thought and Civilization. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Islamic Thought and Civilization at the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. With academic credentials from Al-Azhar University and the University of Brunei Darussalam, Dr. Shah brings a global perspective to Islamic scholarship.
His expertise spans Sharīʿah, Islamic Banking and Finance, and Arabic language. Dr. Shah has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at numerous international conferences. He previously headed the Islamic Banking and Finance Department at the Islamic University of Maldives and is also an HEC-approved PhD supervisor.

Dr Noman Arshed is a lecturer in the Department of Business Analytics at Sunway Business School, Sunway University. He has expertise in programming in R and Python and integrating advanced econometrics with machine learning. His research interests are exploring the gains of AI integration in business and the environment.
Dr David Wallace-Hare

Dr David Wallace-Hare is the Director of IFOMN CIC (Islamic Finance Options for Muslim Non-profits (https://ifomn.org)), a UK non-profit working to strengthen Islamic financial infrastructure for third sector organisations in riba-based economies. He holds a PhD in Classics from the University of Toronto, an MSc in Charity Marketing and Fundraising from Bayes Business School, City St. George's, University of London and a Professional Certificate in Islamic Finance (Shariah) from INCEIF. His research is focused on addressing the de-banking crisis of Muslim non-profits in the UK and other riba-based economies through Islamic finance products and services.
Dr. Abdul Basit Sohail

Dr. Abdul Basit Sohail is a Research Associate at İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim University, where he also earned his Ph.D. in Islamic Economics and Finance with a 100% merit scholarship. His doctoral research positioned him as a leading voice in the field, particularly in areas related to Islamic stocks, stock markets, and contemporary Islamic financial practices. Recognised as an award-winning scholar, Dr. Sohail has contributed to several high-impact conferences and peer-reviewed journals. His academic journey reflects a commitment to advancing Islamic finance through both rigorous research and practical insight, making him a valuable addition to the JIBEP editorial board.

Dr. Farah Yasser is an accomplished academic and practitioner in Islamic banking and finance, currently serving as Associate Professor and Director of the BBA Program at the Dr Hasan Murad School of Management (HSM), University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore. With a PhD focused on Islamic Banking and Finance, she also holds the prestigious designation of Fellow Chartered Management Accountant (FCMA).
Dr. Yasser brings extensive experience in curriculum development, academic leadership, and research supervision. Her work integrates Islamic financial principles with contemporary management practices, and she has contributed significantly to academic discourse in the region. She is also the Custodian of the PhD program in Islamic Banking and Finance at UMT and has been actively involved in mentoring students and leading initiatives to promote ethical finance and sustainability.
